Seriously Rita Ora moment

For the longest time, I've been disinterested in nail polish department as a whole. No particular reason; I started spending a lot of time typing so after a while it just became a waste of time. Besides, it seems that people have gone made for gel nail for the last couple of years, which I am so over... Of course once upon a time (which is 6 years ago), I was also crazy about gel nail, then I moved on. Seemingly, the technology has improved a lot since I've been away from nail polish/manicure world and I have to tell you that I am very impressed by my recent discoveries including the one that I am going to talk about today. It's Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine by Rita Ora collection.

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine by Rita Ora (Go Wild-er-ness)
I picked up two shades from Boots the other day. Obviously it's spring and I wanted pastel shades; I did some digging on Internet and found about Rimmel London Rita Ora collection which sounded fantastic! I love her style as much as I love her music. I've been seriously in love with her personality as well since I saw her in the Voice UK; very down to earth. Anyway, I saw some pictures and reviews and thought her nail polish collection is a perfect match for what I want right now which is:

  • pastel;
  • quick dry;
  • super shine;
  • super affordable;
  • a massive brush which enables a quick and perfect application.
Yes, I am all over you...

The collection has 12 shades altogether and I picked up just two: Go Wild-er-ness which is perfect lilac shade and Pillow Talk (such a sweet name) which is a pastel sky blue with hidden shimmer. I was particularly attracted to these shades mainly because I already own baby pink shades and am not particularly keen on mint green or yellow.

As you can see from the picture above, the pigmentation is ahhhhhhmazing. It's not totally streaky-free but I found with two coats, it's good to go. The formula is so creamy that it's to die for. I love Rimmel London 60 Seconds range because it comes with a massive flat brush. This brush shape is important not only because it enables a fool-proof application for someone like me who is quite clumsy but also because it makes the entire application quick enough to blend out(?) the nail polish. 60 Seconds range dries really quick that you don't want to waste a second.

Just in case you are wondering, I finished with the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat as well as Elegant Touch Rapid Dry Spray and within half an hour, I am good to go!

I know it may be too cheesy to say this but can a nail polish really change your mood? I found that whenever I look at my nails, I felt so happy!!! :-D I can't wait to try Pillow Talk, heeheeh.

Have you tried Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine by Rita Ora yet?
