Empty product #3: the Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish

Hello, everyone!

I am not sure what's going on with the weather recently. I remember back in April, it was super hot (almost too hot) and I got tons of summer clothes and accessories last time when I went shopping. But since then, it has gone back to the end of winter and all it reminds me of is the fact that I live in Scotland. With this being said however, there is a product in my bathroom which always takes me to the beach on a hot sunny day even when it is in fact, the most miserable day outside: yes, it is the Body Shop's Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish
I am a big fan of the Body Shop's Vitamin C range as a whole.  Its serum which is called Vitamin C Skin Reviver and face spritz are few of my holy grail products. Initially, I was introduced to Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish because of the worst breakout that I had in 10 years about six months ago when I was writing up my thesis. I knew it was the stress from my work which was affecting the condition of my skin, but there was no way that I could cut it out as I was determined to finish my thesis before the end of the year. So instead, I started trying various new products which are supposed to be good for acnes or breakouts but nothing helped. Worst of all is that most of products for acne are designed for combination/oily skin so my skin was getting very dry as well. I was getting more frustrated and it was about this time that I encountered Vitamin C Cleansing Polish.

This facial cleanser is amazing in every sense if you have normal to combination skin. Most importantly, it's not drying; after cleansing, I feel that my face is clean AND hydrating. I hate those facial cleansers which make your face squeaky clean by stripping all natural oils away. Just in case you didn't know, these natural oils such as collagen are crucial for younger-looking skin. In addition, Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish has micro beads which gently removes dead skin cells and bring natural radiance back to your skin. It also has a very fresh awakening orange scent, thus perfect for a morning cleansing routine. Would I repurchase it?

You are damn right and I already did.

The retail price of the Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish is £11 but as you know, The Body Shop always offers some sort discount both online and offline. I always make my purchase when there is £25 off code available when spending £50 (50% off, yay!!!) and beside a couple of my other holy grail items from the Body Shop (which I will share some other time), the Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish has just ranked as one of the top 5 which will be always in my basket.

Have you ever tried the Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish?

Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a great day!

K x
