Meet my new best friend: Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil

I love Ole Henriksen. I first heard about the brand from Fleurdeforce YouTube channel. The glorious facial wipes from Ole Henriksen are one of the staple products in her travel skincare bag.

I've got a deluxe sample bottle of Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil (15ml) from Look Fantastic Beauty Box December 2014. I loved the oil and other items in this box so much that I ordered two more boxes (read the review of the box here).

With the full size bottle being 30ml, it is hardly unbelievable that this deluxe sample is 15ml. Yes, three of the same Look Fantastic Beauty Boxes were totally worthy it, except for the fact that now I own three of the exactly same eyeshadow palettes from Bourjois. 

The product offers various benefits from:

• 100% organic rose hips seed oil;
• Vitamin A (retinoid acid);
• Vitamin C;
• Omega 3, 6 (essential fatty acids) and 9; and
• Vitamin E.

It says "powerful 100% concentrated rose hips oil activates skin's natural reparative ability with potent antioxidants and essential fatty acids to reveal skin's youthful state - bright, resilient and radiant" and after using the three bottles of the product, I can tell you that it definitely lives up to the expectation. 

Despite the fact that its main ingredients is 100% unfiltered, unprocessed oil, the product itself has a very lightweight consistency which enables a quick absorption process. My skin feels deeply hydrated and nourished. The real difference is visible next morning when my skin looks bright and supple. I LOOOOOOVE IT. 

One thing which I don't really like about this oil is its strong scent. It's natural (from rose hips seed oil), but it's potent. By no means it stops me from loving this product but if you don't really like strong herby smell, you might not like this product as much.

You can try the mini sample first and then decide whether or not you are going to go ahead with the full size. If you decide it's not for you, you can return unopened full size product for a full refund within 28days. I think this is a more than generous offer. ;-) Or, you can always wait and see if the next beauty box includes this product and buy multiple boxes like myself, hahah...

Oil seems to have become one of the most popular product releases in the past couple of years. I've tried a lot of them and to be honest, there hasn't been a product which disappointed me. At the same time however, there hasn't been many products which IMPRESSED me and Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil definitely belongs to the latter. The recommended retail price (RRP) of this product is £47. It is not cheap but if this is within your budget, I definitely recommend it. It is worth every penny!
