Latest in Beauty: Clinique the British Beauty Blogger Edit Box

Are you ready for this?

I couldn't be luckier in terms of the day that I decided to come back from London was the day that I received the Clinique the British Beauty Blogger Edit box!

Who remembers the day first Glossy Box launched in the UK? Every month, I couldn't wait until my box arrived: full of small, yet luxurious products for a price of £10. A bargain. Then, a lot of similar subscription-based beauty box have introduced and personally I lost interests in them in general. Additionally, I think the quality of the Glossy Box has dropped immensely from high end to high street. I still remember two years ago Christmas. The December box came so late that it was almost Christmas and my expectation was ever so high. I am not sure if that was why I got so disappointed but my box was half-filled with a wilkinson razor and other average high-street toiletries (NOT skincare or makeup, i.e. beauty products). Within 10 minutes, I went to their website and discontinued my subscription once for all.

Since then, I came across Latest in Beauty and fell in love with its concept: it's not subscription-based and you actually purchase what you see. This means that there is no nasty surprise. Anyway, I am going to stop rambling about my thoughts about beauty boxes box but now you know exactly where I am coming from.

The Clinique the British Beauty Blogger Edit box (limited edition) contains 7 products from Clinique chosen by Jane Cunningham. With a price of just £18.50 (postage included) the 7 products included in this box are incredible both in terms of quality (best-sellers) and quantity (either deluxe sample or full size). They are:

High Impact mascara (full size, worth £17.50);
Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm (full size, worth £17);
Take the Day off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes & Lips (30ml);
Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+ (15ml);
Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (15ml);
Liquid Facial Soap Mild (30ml);
Happy Perfume Spray (4ml); and last but not least
£10 voucher!

I have tried all the products included in the box previously and some of them are my absolutely favourite (e.g. Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+ and Chubby Stick). I just wish that it came before my trip down to London; for a 7-day (or little longer) trip, I think this would have been perfect. If you are travelling via air, you WILL never appreciate the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief enough(!).

Nevertheless, I am still very happy that I got the box and am ready for the next holiday (and a visit to Clinique counter)! Yoo-hoo! :-D As the box is a limited edition, I suggest that you'd better get hurry to get hands on this baby.

Have you tried Latest in Beauty? What are your thoughts?

K x
